Knicks on the verge of moving on

Sites are set for Round 2 of the NBA Playoffs

JR Smith will return to the lineup for Game 5 against the Celtics to help the team secure their 20th win in  their last 22 games.  Smith was suspended for one game for elbowing Celtics PG Jason Terry.

The Knicks lost the opportunity to sweep the Celtics in Boston but couldn’t close the deal after a terrible shooting night from Carmelo Anthony. Anthony went 10-35  and 0-7 from the 3-point line.  It was almost as if Anthony was taking Smith’s shots as well as his own.

“Honestly, as far as J.R. goes, we miss him, I missed him out there,” Anthony said. “But J.R. being out there doesn’t change the way I shoot the basketball. Those are the shots I’ve been taking the whole series. They weren’t falling tonight.   My mama always said, ‘There’ll be days like this.’ ”

Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday May 1st. Be sure to get your tickets!
