Knicks drop fifth game in a row

The New York Knicks Center Brook Lopez brought his team into a 97-95 lead with a dunk.  The Boston Celtics Anthony Tolliver answered the score with a three-pointer.  The Knicks Lopez responded with a layup.  Tolliver again answered the call and swished another three pointer at which point the Knicks never regained the lead.

“I knew that obviously I hadn’t really touched the ball much,” Tolliver said. “At the end of the day, it’s about the big shots, and I took one and made one.”

“There’s no explanation for that,” Knicks coach Derek Fisher said. “Our guys just didn’t come to play in the first half, and we dug ourselves the kind of hole where everything has to go right for you to have a chance.”

The Knicks must get back to work tonight as they face the Memphis Grizzlies tonight at Madison Square Garden.  Plenty of great seats and affordable tickets are still available so be sure to get yours today and help cheer on your New York Knicks.
