Knicks fall to the Wizards

Hawks come into MSG this weekend

The New York Knicks road woes continue as they fell to the Washington Wizards 119-112 last night.  To date they have won only one game away from Madison Square Garden, against the Chicago Bulls on November 4th.

The Knicks were led by Derrick Rose who scored 27 points.  Brandon Jennings came off the bench to chip in 17 points on 7-10 shooting.  But, per Rose, the team did not do enough to earn the win.

knicks-1‘Tonight was effort,” Rose said. ”When we see someone down or we see someone where things are not clicking, that’s when we’ve got to come together as a team. So it’s still early in the year. We’ve still got a lot more games to play. It just takes time.”

The Hawks are working on a six game winning streak, defeating the Milwaukee Bucks 107-100 Wednesday night. They visit the Charlotte Hornets before taking on the Knicks on Sunday.

Plenty of great seats and affordable tickets are still available so be sure to grab yours today and help cheer on your New York Knicks!
